Position Summary Onit is looking for a HR Generalist & Office Manager (all genders) in full-time (minimum of 3 days in our Kyiv office) for our HR EMEA team. This person will report directly to the Human Resources Director EMEA and will play a key role in providing comprehensive human resource services to currently 29 Onit employees in Ukraine, including support of employee life cycle programs, general human resources programs, and policy and process implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for handling employment-related inquiries from employees, supervisors, and applicants
Create an employee engagement calendar, organize events, parties and celebrations, manage monthly/quarterly rewards and recognitions
Provide ad hoc HR & payroll reporting, gathering and compiling HR metrics/data from a variety of sources, including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and payroll outputs, exit interviews, employment verifications, state labor statistics and other sources
Support special projects, audits, etc. from an HR perspective
Conduct or obtain background and eligibility checks on employees, support with recruiting admin
Perform routine tasks necessary to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; training and development
Compliance with Ukrainian labor laws and regulations
Maintaining military records
Supporting the preparation of payroll (new employees, departures, expenses, vacations), benefits, performance and compensation review and evaluation processes
Point of contact for external agencies/departments and health insurance providers
Supporting the implementation of new training, development, recruitment and other related initiatives
Office Management
Support for the Kyiv and partially Lviv offices, communication with Business Centers’ Administrations on service matters, pass creation for employees, submissions of maintenance requests to the BC system, administration of the security system in both offices, managing office budget, communication with the external cleaning company
Ordering office supplies, scheduling snack and water deliveries
Managing invoice requests and approvals with vendors while controlling the office budget
Managing basic accounting documents (invoices, acceptance acts) with the help of the external accounting firm
Monitoring all payments to be made in a timely manner, retaining all payment documents, external and internal communication (with Onit´s global Acccounting team)

Demonstrated ability to support HR operations in a dynamic US company
Ability to plan and work under stringent timelines and skilled to manage and execute effectively on multiple, time-sensitive projects, with great attention to detail and keen sense of urgency and confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Oustanding interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Be a collaborative team player who demonstrates flexibility and a can-do attitude as part of a motivated, high performance HR team in a dynamic global environment
Strong ethics; knowledge and awareness of local legal and compliance aspects of HR operations
Strong ability to analyse and report data to drive decisions
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of hands-on experience as a HR Generalist, Payroll specialist or comparable
Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to work within a global US company while supporting employees locally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Ukrainian
Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration or related field required
Experience with employment practices, human resources policies and procedures with an emphasis on Ukrainian labor law
