Onit seeks a high performing leader to serve as Sales Director, Strategic Account Manager. This position requires an individual with experience leading/ supporting teams responsible for delivering a best-in-class SaaS experience to large companies. A successful candidate will have experience delivering additional value to customers via up and cross-selling. This role will liaise with cross functional internal teams including Professional Services, Product Management, Finance and Engineering to ensure achievement of our gross and net retention goals. The role reports to the Global SVP of Strategic Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In partnership with Global SVP of Strategic Sales, meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales targets
Develop and lead a high performing team of Account Manager individual contributors, with these individuals as your direct reports
In partnership with Global SVP of Strategic Sales, ensure accuracy of sales forecasts, pipeline and activity metrics along with other key customer metrics
Engage with the Strategic Alliances Team to manage and maintain current data and next steps on target companies we have in common with one or more consulting partners and allocating activity between our organizations
Translate Onit’s broader GTM into an executable business plan that can be successfully delivered by each individual contributor
Closely manage the performance of the team – prioritizing coaching to create a culture of personal accountability that delivers on sales booking and retention targets
Drive adoption and compliance of CRM usage including sales pipeline information, sales opportunity detail and updates, forecasts, contact data and call/meeting history
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing quota carrying teams selling to and/or supporting SaaS customers; experience working with Legal, Finance and/or Legal Operations is a plus
Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
Consistent track record in overseeing a team that meets or beats quotas and delivers business results
Experience developing sales strategies and optimizing the allocation of key accounts
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels within an organization including executive and C-level
Outstanding leadership skills - leads teams to deliver on ambitious business goals, inspires their best work, mentors and develops their careers
Proven senior leadership experience in sales management of enterprise software applications including strong strategic management and planning skills
Experience delivering client-focused solutions that drive increased revenue
Able to thrive in a fast paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects in real time
